I think I could have figured it out, but it was very nice to have pictures and diagrams to go off of. Just needed a philips screwdriver, an open end wrench and an O-ring pliers. You can do it yourself. Thank you for letting me know about www.fitnessforums.net. On this site I found the test points on the Motor Controller and what their expected values should be.
